I'm still getting aquainted with my new digital camera. i t sure beats using up rolls of film. I want to get close-ups.. displaying the intricate details without all of the blur.
I have had some luck using the cloud dome I bought last year. It diffuses the light really well. I need to find something that works for taking photos head on instead of from the top.
I read an article in one of the Bead magazines, I can look it up if some one needs it. From just applying the grey background they recommended, my photos already looks better. I am not completely happy yet, because I know my light is not right. I saw some photos of a beader who likes to take photos outside in the sun, but I pick up that the shades were everywhere in the photo. Please, can somebody share with use what is the best way to take the pictures to get the shades out, capture the colors of the jewellery, ext. And then, as Sharayah mentioned, the blur.
Sometimes you have to play with the picture in your computer using the editing features that come with the camera program. I have used this and have been able to get the colors more precise, get rid of alot of shadow, and brighten up the pictures in general.
