Help, please
I've seen some beadwork done with cord combined with beads. The beads are surrounded with 2 or 3 colours of cord, ext. Can anybody please tell me what that technique is called, and maybe where I can look for tutorials for this technique. Thanks, ladies. X

Hi Lorraine! I'm not sure this is the same thing, but are you referring to the type of work Dori Csengeri is well known for? I'm don't know if the technique has a special name. It's is a type of needlework that is basically passementry worked with silk soutache braids, beads and stones. I would imagine that the technique is explained in some needlework books. I'll look through mine when I get home next week. Lidia
