I have been working on a Margie Deeb design called "Deva" for the better part of a year. I'm putting it forward for a CWA competition this year but not sure how it will go. I used 11/0 delicas for the bead weaving on the main part, and 15/0 seedies with glass flowers for the fringing on the strap and the embellishments for the face. I would have liked to have been able to embellish the face similar to that illustrated in Margie's book, "Beading Her Image", but it is beyond my capabilities. I'm just happy to have gotten it completed before the competition in March!! Normally I'm working on a project right up until the day!!!!

Dank je, Maria!!!

Beautiful!  I love Margie Deeb's work too & have completed a purse with a woman's face on the flap.  https://www.etsy.com/listing/104616243/drawstring-bag-with-beadwove...  (I used her pattern for the woman's face.)  Again, it must have take you many, many hours, and I love how yours turned out!!!

It's beautiful - you did a wonderful job.
