Welcome to Beader's Showcase, one of the premier websites for artists working with beads, polymer clay, PMC, lampwork and much, much more.

We have artists with skills including stringing, embroidery, weaving, clay work, lampwork, silversmithing and loom work. But it doesn't stop there.

You will be amazed at what our artists can do with some of the most basic materials. Given a few glass beads, some wire, a little material, a feather, a couple of silver or even pewter findings, they will create a masterpiece.

Please enjoy, and if you are an artist come join us.

Christine's Horses & Tigers & Gold, Oh My!, closeup!

Wow! I can actually share my Use the Muse peice with all of you!

I didn't win anything, but I had a blast doing it!!!!

The name of my entry is "Christine's Horses & Tigers and Gold, Oh My!"

You see the tigers and the gold , but you might be wondering where the horses come in.... Well, it is actually one horse. My 36 year old Quarter Horse, Resa. (yes, she really is 36 years old!) During the designing of my piece I realized that my old friend was in danger of having to be put down, and I was heart broken. I decided that I needed something of her in my entry, so I harvested some hair out of her beautiful tail and used it in the straps for my necklace. She has always been my "muse" so I thought that it fitting to have part of her close to my heart!

Lovely piece.....I so struggled with the Muse, when I opened the box all I could do was groan, there was not a single thing I loved. Not sure if I will do it again. But am enjoying looking at all the other entries, so many talented people.
I think you did the Muse proud

Thanks Linda! I know what you mean about animals being inspiration. I am sure that your dressage neckpiece will be lovely. I hope that you share it with us when it is completed. I would love to see the end result! Thanks again!
