- It is a tie between beaded cabs and netting!
- Other beading activities you enjoy or want to learn about?
- Enjoy wire crochet, general stringing w gemstones, but with differant styles of seed bead work in between stones, trying to learn quill beading, but not getting very far!
- About Me:
- I am 58, married 37 years, beading over 17. I have 2 adult kids, son 35, in Ks. He and his wife r professors of he-Native American Anthropology, she- Head of Breast Cancer Research at Ks. City Med. Ctr., mostly working w N.A's also. They have a 7 yr. old that sadly is terminal and is like a 3 mth. old. My daughter is 29 and just had a little girl in Aug., she is in Ga., so my family is no where near me! My husband and I are planning on moving back to Az. in Aug., so I am looking forward to that.
For the last 6 years I have been disabled, have several diseases, am housebound, don't walk, or very little when possible, so if it were not for beading, the computer, word puzzles and reading I would go out of my mind as I am not used to and am having trouble accepting this kind of lifestyle! I still do juried shows when possible, but they are becoming more difficult as time goes on.
I am currently working on a new web store, but can be found on several sites; Flickr.com/photos/atrag, Picturetrail.com/Beadfuldelights, Jewelry making.com, Jewelry Designs by AnnMarie.ning.com, DesignsbyAnnMarie.blogspot.com, and belong to several beading groups.' There are some wonderfully talented artists on here and I hope I get to be friends with some of them.
