Other beading activities you enjoy or want to learn about?
Always trying to learn new techniques or perfecting the old ones. Love to learn anything about beads. Also would like to learn metalsmithing.

Hi Trish, usually I start with a focal point, like a bead or button, sometimes just colors, and go from there. It usually just evolves. I always asked people who did bead embroidery how you do it and they always said it just happens - it speaks to them. Now I understand what they were talking about.
Hi Yvonne, Thank you for your comment. It is lovely to have input from fellow beaders. I like your Autumn cuff, the way you have used such different bead sizes to create the texture is marvellous. Do you have a plan when you do your projects or do they just evolve?
Hi Loise: Thanks for the welcome. The green and copper spiral is peyote using different size beads to make it curl around like that. I used size 8 to the smaller size 15. Each bead is put on one at a time. With crochet you have to string on all your beads on thread first, then crochet.
Hi Yvonne and welcome, is your big spiral necklace bead crochet or something else (it's so beautiful)? I've been learning bead crochet as well and trying to understand the differences between it and other methods such as peyote.
Welcome and thank you for your kind comments - I am very impressed by your use of colour and colour combinations - something that I have trouble with and agonize over.......
