Did you use a template to make the pattern or did you just draw it out? I really want to make a necklace but am intimidated by creating the actual shape.

You should definitely create a pattern to sell for this. It is absolutely gorgeous and there aren't a ton of elegant patterns using bugle beads.

Welcome - I have been beading about 10 years and have been doing bead embroidery about 8 years. I learned to embroidery with thread when I was just a little girl from both of my grandmothers and have always loved to work with a needle and thread.

I enjoy all of the off loom stitches and my second favorite would be herringbone.
