She is just lovely, but I would change her name to Egyptian Fairy as she looks like she is resting among the lotus leaves in the water. Great job, very original and well done to boot!

I'd like to learn more stitches; I can do the basics of all common beadwork stitches, but have recently heard the names of stitches that are completely new to me and I can't find references to them on the internet.
I have a Flickr account showing my latest work at: http://www.flickr.com/glorious-beads
About Me:
I have been beading about 10 years, beginning with stringing and advancing to beadweaving and creating my own designs for pieces, mainly jewelry.
Hi Jeanne - Your beadwork is so fabulous! So elegant! The pictures are all stunning! Lidia

Jeanne, thanks so much for your comment on my royal affair necklace! I enjoyed looking at all your pictures again. Your cuffs and rivolis are beautiful. Linda
Do the plastic milk bottles not keep shape once cut? There is a UK shop which sells blank cuffs. Think for the next project I'll try using one and see how it works out.
Once you string the beads on to do the bead crochet spiral, it's quick to stitch it. Perhaps quicker than the peyote. But I can see why the stringing them on puts you off :D I've only done two patterned bead crochet necklaces. But I think I might make myself a bracelet perhaps...
Anyway your bracelets are beautiful. What base material do you work on?
I know exactly what you mean about spirals taking so long to make. I wondered if I would ever get done. I could only work on it an hour at a time and had to stop and work on something else - so it took over a month to make. I was so glad when I had finished it, but foolish me, I'll probably do another one.
