Other beading activities you enjoy or want to learn about?
I enjoy basic stringing, wire work, peyote stitch, and learning new stitches.
About Me:
I began beading years ago. I found that I loved it. It realxed me and let me be free to do and learn new things. I owned my own jewelry business until just recently, but, I will have another as soon as the economy turns around....I really enjoy learning new techniques using beads and in the past year have lost count of the many ways I learned to incorporate beads into something we call "art".

Hi Kelly,
Sorry, I've been away for an early Thanksgiving, just got back into town. Good to hear from you. I'm originally from Champaign, Illinois. Then Dad due to his work (in 1974), moved us to Southern Illinois at Carbondale. My sister lived up in Chicago and we would visit her. She mainly lived in Batavia. You could say I'm well rounded in more ways than one.lol
Thanks Kelly!
Funny thing.....I was visitng family for 1 1/2 wks and took supplies with me to make more Dutch Spiral bracelets. I couldn't even imagine not making jewelry for that time period so I took what I didn't need tools for that I could tote easily.
I didn't get one bracelet made! I had the darnest time getting the pattern started for some reason. It made me nuts because I kept re-starting it....probably about 6 times, to no avail. I'm determined to figure out what I was doing wrong this wkend. It was so strange not to make any jewelry over a wk and a half. I was having withdrawals!
Thanks Kelly.. Your pieces here are beautiful that is one of my favorite colors I love how you put them to gether with the seed beads in the blues and greens and aquas..
Hi Kelly:
I'm having some fun browsing around on the Beader's Showcase. When I can figure out how to post pics here like you did, I'll get some of my new pieces up for all to see.
Have a great day, Karen
