Because I'll be meeting mostly other jewelry designers and bead artists here, I think of the photo album on Beader's Showcase as a sort of portfolio. When you meet someone in the forum, or a group, you can see their work and get an idea of what sort…

Thank you so much for your comment. You know I have always liked the jewelry I wear to be a little gritty! But I hope the jewelry I make is a little a little whimsical too.

HI, I think I answered your comment in the wrong place. I don't get asked often but it took me a lot of practice to figure it out. Not a lot of teachers out there for flowers. I'm posting a peach set tonight on my website:
lampworkbyjoyce.com. Thanks for the nice comment.

Are you kidding me? 3D hearts pales in comparison to those zillions of dangly things in your pieces. They look like they took a year to make!! Do you bead in your sleep to save time? LOL

It's an important debate, especially for those of use who sell our work. So many consumers want to know what kind of an impact their purchases will have on the envi… Continue

Christmas Bracelet

I recently made this Christmas Tree bracelet for my blog. I wanted to re-create a bracelet that I had made last spring, only this time use a winter color palette.

Although it's meant to look like Christmas lights, I didn't want to use the traditional red, yellow and green light colors. I've always liked simply decorated Christmas trees, with metallic bulbs and white lig… Continue
