Welcome to Beader's Showcase, one of the premier websites for artists working with beads, polymer clay, PMC, lampwork and much, much more.

We have artists with skills including stringing, embroidery, weaving, clay work, lampwork, silversmithing and loom work. But it doesn't stop there.

You will be amazed at what our artists can do with some of the most basic materials. Given a few glass beads, some wire, a little material, a feather, a couple of silver or even pewter findings, they will create a masterpiece.

What is your favorite beading activity? Surely you can separate one:): Off loom weaving

Other beading activities you enjoy or want to learn about?: Peyote and RAW are my go to stitches. I want to learn cubic RAW. I am always interested in learning new off loom stitches.

Members here are always interested in pictures of your work. If you don't know how to photograph your jewelry, you will find conversations in the forum (Discussions) on how do set up an inexpensive photo studio.

There's also different groups that you can join to help you with what ever you are currently interested in. For instance, if you're currently interested in bead embroidery, there is a group for that. If you have a specific question on how to do something in bead embroidery, feel free to start a thread in discussions.

If you're interested in learning how to do something new, let's say the Cellini spiral, check out videos because there may be one there to help you learn how to do that. I know for sure there's one on the Cellini spiral because it was the first video uploaded and it's mine.

If you find someone whose work you really like, be bold and ask them to accept you as a friend. I will be sending you an invitation as Gail Devoid to become my friend and you can check that out. Generally, you will find that beaders are a very friendly group.

There's also blog posts here. These are searchable. If you search for Gail Devoid, Mona Hair's entries for the show we co-host will show. If you are interested in bead embroidery and search on that term, any blog entry that mentions this will display.
