Ndebele Lariat...

Just checked it out, and the link to beadsbydee.com, just to check it out and I'm glad I did! Neat ideas, various interesting beads, kits, and lots of other interesting stuff! Key word: interesting! Haven't made a Lariat style before though I have come close to something similar (!?!), and would like to give it a go. Interesting!!

Nature inspires

When I feel stuck on one piece, I start on another piece entirely. I go for completely different colors. As I spend time relaxing my brain and eyes on something else, the solution comes slowly into my creative brain. I don't/can't force it! I also pay attention to the cycles and location of the moon. I try to finish difficult pieces at the waning moon. I start new pieces after the new moon. That is just how it works best for me, and I hope this helps others! Remember the moon! New Moon Inspiration :-)

Today I am going to begin anew. I have cleared the ground of detritus that protected and camoflauged the beads I have dragged with me through 2 years of serious strife that affected my life even till recently. They have been sorted, washed, dried, and regrouped with their prospective mates. The New Moon we had on Monday suggests to me not only a harvest, but a redirecting of energies. Life here is pretty nice considering the economic situation. At least there are plenty oranges and sweet potatoes! We have great farmers markets and we boycott GMO's! Gardening is also a productive way to spend the time. After all, money is not food! Happy new year all! Love, Joy.
