What is your favorite beading activity?
Free form beading of any kind
Other beading activities you enjoy or want to learn about?
I really enjoy doing free form projects. Free form peyote, bead embroidery, and embellishing pieces. Free form projects used to cause me great anxiety and I needed clear step by step instructions to create a piece. Now I'm hooked on free form! Finding it very relaxing and no stopping to read instructions or get up tight about doing it wrong. There is no "wrong" in free form... try it!
About Me:
I teach at Studio 34 Beads and Bead Breakout in Rochester, NY.
I have a degree in computer science and enjoy working on code (Python) for web sites. I recently had a bracelet ("Double Delight") published in the Beadwork magazine (Feb/Mar 2009) which was great fun to see. I enjoy designing and writing up classes/instructions. Meeting wonderful people in the community as I teach more and more.

Hi... thank you for your kind words, here are some photo tips:
don't use the flash, use the macro setting on your camera and use a tripod :-) I actualy blogged about my photos, here is the link: http://triz-beadingmania.blogspot.com/2008/05/photo-set-up-and-finally-new-piece.html
I hope this helps, good luck! :-)

Hi Amy, about the green stretchy bangle, yes, tubular netting is done just like the peyote. I make the tube and then insert the core beads with the stretch magic and then end off the inner core before closing up the bangle. It is actually very simple!
